Embark on a journey with Sapphire Nature Yours to explore the untouched beauty of the northern rainforests of Australia. Led by experienced guide Sam, you will encounter wary cassowaries, the divine sunbirds, the curiously strange tree kangaroos, playful platypus and more. Immerse yourself in the lush surroundings with rainforest walks and refreshing dips in water holes and waterfalls. Discover ancient plants that are unique to this region, making this safari tour an unforgettable experience. Uncover the magic of nature with Sapphire Nature Tours. This is a boutique small group tour limited to 8 to 10 people. This trip is fabulous for the nature lover and/or photographer with plenty of opportunities to capture some awesome moments. If you want to see the birds breeding, the metallic starlings and the fig parrots feeding on the native figs in October is the best time. The magical Metallic Starlings (see attached photo) migrate from Papua New Guinea in summer to Cairns and other places. The tour covers 5 nights and up to 6 days (depending on when you fly in or out of Cairns). Accommodation is of a high standard. Cancellation Policy
FOR DAY TOURS a full refund is given for cancellations 48 hours or more ahead of the day tour starting time. After 48 hours preceding the start time of the tour a 50% refund is given. FOR OVERNIGHT TOURS, at least 14 notice preceding the start time of the tour is required for a full refund. If 13 to 7 days' notice is given before the start time and date of the tour the cancellation fee of 10% is retained. After 7 days before the tour starts the refund amount may be 10% however this is dependent on how many are booked in to the tour and how much the booked accommodation will charge us.
